They were definitely in Baldwins mostly along the back of the spine bar and all down towards the sink swim end. There were 8 of us fishing monday night yet only 2 of us were getting liners so they were still very localised. They were straight on the PRB as soon as we were putting it out we were getting liners. Wrap your hookbait in a light layer of paste and keep the casting to a minimum

just got back from another blank using the new stuff . . . . .but the fish where in baldwins....infront of the garden swim they were rolling at around 11.30 last night and this morning. do fish come off the spine bar or is it better to fish behind/infont of it ?

2009-2010 SEASONThis season i'll be fishing brooklands till june, then i'll be back down to kirby viaduct, this season i've become a senior member so i an finally do nights ;D My bait this season will remain the same, being the mighty OC and i will be tipping this i did last season with mega corn to form a snow man set up i have chosen to tweak my rigs this season . . .i will be using size 10 kurvs with silicone tubing on the shank and shrink tube over the eye with a long hair , i have also changed from fluro to supple braid in the form of 10lb silkworm with will be tied to a link loop i have chosen to slightly lengthen my rigs this season to 12 inches also instead of using a small piece of putty on the rig ive chosen to use a large amount about 3-5 inches from the hook to help pull it down in to the bottom lip ;D Also this season instead of using a lead clip system that everybody seems to use i've slighty modified mine to give the carp something different to deal with ;D basically the carp picks up the bait and bolts as normal but then as it starts shaking its head etc to try and throw the rig it becomes a free running and theres no escape the lead set up how it sits in the pond Then a beast gets hold of it and it becomes a free running setup ;D

Go get em mate A word of advice though I've always found tipping baits with yellow is bream fodder, they seem to seek out the yellow for some reason. Try using the black plastic corn instead seems to catch a lot less bream.
