had a walk round dartford to day ...... a few carpers down there .... are you alllowed to fish from the swim opposite the beaky...at the entrance of the no fishing area ?

dartford is full of fish mate so anywhere with a snag or silt, that sand bar is a puka swim mate i used to fish it when there was 6 inches of water under my bed chair,, but dartford is low at the moment so probley not the best bet mate, if i was you i would try and get in the garden swim on the center path and fish just in front of the bar, or the ashes are a good bet this time of year

I fish a fair bit up at sutton and seem to have my fair share of blanks.At the moment i am only doing days as it is my first year and only managing to squeeze in short four hour sessions.What i am asking is what the f*** i have to do get bites in these short frustrating sessions?

this time of year past the pads sign, one on the tree next to the sign and one on the point of island loads and loads of gravel out there bit cold for the candy stick mate

wide, rushes, bridge, garden, dog leg would be my first choices, i would almost guarentee a fish from all them swims this time of year,
