Dippy and Big Leather are in Chris's post above although I'm not sure if they're still with us Big Common, closest I ever got to the fecking thing! Long Common at 31 Two Tone - obviously not an original but it's one of the biggest fish in there The Fang Blind Eye Linear All of these are still in there There's also a mirror I had at 25 but I can't find the pics anywhere, it's got a big patch of scales about 2/3 of the way down on it's left hand side. I hear that quite a few of the stockies are doing well and up into the mid 20s now as well.

Matt, Dippy came out a couple of weeks back and I'm sure the big leather is there but for some reason really goes up and down in weight

I never caught the armadillo sadly as thats still one of the best looking fish I've ever seen but always managed to evade me. Also that poxy common never could stick a hook in it. Had all the rest though ;D
Glad to hear Dippy and the Leather are still going as they looked on their last legs a few years ago proper old warriors those two. I remember seeing them many years ago when they were still peachy, they'll always be special to me I practically grew up with all those old originals in there.
It would be interesting to see if Wally can pull out a few old pics from his time in there I'm always interested to see pics of the old characters and reminisce about the ones that sadly aren't with us any more.

It was the first fish I ever saw out of there 26lb from the Brambles July 1995 what a peach it was in its day. Come on you old gits get your old big lake photos out. I know you've got a cracking pic of the aptly named Beauty back in her prime.

Chris, having been told I had caught Mannwaring at 30-4. later I was told it was Dippy. What ever fish it was it looks like the last two fish on your post. Mannwaring on one side and Dippy on the other
