1kg of marine halibut groundbait
900g swim stim koi groundbait (betaine green)
900g swim stim koi groundbait (amino black)
1kg perfect cat food method mix or similar
1kg salmon fry crumb
3kg special blend groundbait
As this is a dry mix you can keep it in a bucket and it will last you a long time.
You will basically take as much of the dry mix with you on your session as you think you need in a large re-sealable sandwich bag or similar.
Follow these steps:
1) Add to your dry mix a liberal amount of salmon oil, this is the main attractant in the mix, when you have done this mix it all around so the oil mixes with the various crumbs you have in there.
2) Then you add your flavour, i use N-R-G boiles for my fishing so i add again a liberal amount of the N-R-G dip to the mix, when you done this again mix it all round to evenly spread the dip out, as anyone who has used N-R-G dip knows its quite potent, once you have done these 2 steps leave the mix to stand for about 15 minutes, and its ready.
How wet or dry you have the mix is entirley upto you.
I personally prefer to use korda's boilie funnel web when making my stik's, and i make them about 4" long.
DO NOT ADD WATER
REMEBER THE MORE OIL IN THE MIX LENGTHENS THE MELT TIME OF THE PVA.
This is the perfect complement to fishing single hook baits as there is no food items in the stik mix just 100% attraction, and as there are no pellets in it you can pull your hook straight into the stik ensuring your hook is protected on the cast from tangles, also you get the oppurtunity to just give your line a little tweak back without fear of hooking any chod that may be on the bottom of the water you are fishing.
This method has certainly banked me lots of fish in the last 2 years ive been using it so hopefully it will do the same for you.
