Id go multi rig mate, use it for everything. Since using it and Stiff Riggers Ive only lost one fish. Thats in the best part of three years

Good call Spence, the multi rig is the way forward. Also, dont forget the choddy. You can never be 100% sure what you are fishing over ddapscaper, you said silty, but how silty? Also you could try wafters and critically balanced baits, in conjunction with the multi rig. Something that settles softley on the top of the silt. Good luck mate.

Been doing the same myself, two bouyant bottom baits that would just lift the rig then stuck a number 4 shot on the break in braid. Since changing to this exact set up Ive had ten takes from the Manor

yeah mate, you have to be carefull about how close you squeeze the shot to the hook. also dont forget to blob the floss or the shot slides off.. i learnt that the hard way haha. and try it over your hand and see how it sits, i fink its a good'n
