Just returned from a quick overnighter at thorpe lea and was shocked at the state of the carp in this "PREMIER" day ticket water. The fish had appaling mouth damage and sores, the first fish i had almost no bottom lip and it was a struggle to find the hook amongst the damge and sores. Also fish had lumps on there sides like the top of a spod, not good. They have a rule for barbed only and i think they should rethink this.

Or is it just a case of the owner wanting the angler fish on the bank at any cost to the livestock?
