I have just got back from a day on a water where the majority of the swims are like bloomin concrete & try as I might I couldn't get my sticks in the ground. As much as I hate them I think the time has come to get one of those gay rod pod thingys & am considering the Solar World Wide. Has anybody got one & if so are they all there cracked up to be. Also any other options would be appreciated. thanks John
ps on an entirely different subject, Joss would you mind if I printed off a copy of your snake/frog photos to frame & put on the wall in my "study"

I have the worldwide and have to say im very pleased with it , you do tend to get bleeps on all three rods at once sometimes , but thats the nature of a pod ! other ones worth looking at are defiant mps and if you can find one an SAS pod !

Hi Gary, Couldnt agree more regarding stainless sticks. I currently use DefiantMPS stainless sticks which screw into just about anything. Unfortunately the swims I am talking about are so hard I cant get them in. I seriously think they have put concrete under the thin layer of grass. I am down there next Manday so will dig around a bit. All I know is that come what may I can't get a stick into the ground. regards John
ps thanks to to those guys who have offered comments they are very much appreciated
