hi all just sent off my application form for DDAPS and was wondering which of the lakes you would suggest to go to just to get my confidence up a bit and for a bit more experience, preferably not to daunting, any one got any ideas

Get on Brooklands fella. Get a head start and get a day ticket until you get your membership.

DDAPS carper is your man for Brooklands. ;D
It's probably frozen right now but I think it was fishing quite well up to last week. The A2 bank / lake was producing.

i went up there to have a walk around after work on sunday at about 2 and there was (if i remember rightly) 3 people set up on the bank nearest to princess road on A2 lake, so im hazarding a guess that that is A2 bank it was pretty cold on sunday but with the weather today the lake probably will be frozen! might just have to get up there for a few hours after work on saturday seeming as im not allowed to do nights there

You can do nights if you buy a night ticket off Rick the bailiff

siltey! with plenty of gravely spots, and a couple of bars! quiet snaggy on the far bank where the lake was back filled but it will do fish! margins fish well!
