Depends what you're looking for. With the addition of Bennett's I think DDAPS is a very good shout.

Looking for English fish 30+ in good health with a bit of float fishing thrown in a save and peaceful environment. I have looked at the photos of Bennetts and it look like paradise with on anglers on it shame it would take me over a hour to drive there.

hi John, I am a member of DDAPS & ODAA & for what its worth I think DDAPS is by far the better option of the two, Orpington has some nice waters with some nice fish to 40lb plus but I personally think DDAPS is a better run club & IMHO has the interests of its members at heart. It like orpington has some cracking waters & fish. However as has already been said the addition of Bennets to dartfords portfolio is to my mind the icing on the cake. Obviously the choice is yours so good luck in whatever you choose.

Is there any update on what sort of fish stock there is in Bennetts lake? I'm mostly interested in the Carp

Hi John, I don't think you will regret joining DDAPS. I went down to Ruxley this morning & in my humble opinion Dartfords waters are so much cleaner, tidier & better presented. However to be fair ODAA have done a lot of work over the past months to improve the complex, so all credit to them for that. DDAPS also appear to be carrying out a lot of work as you have probably read elsewhere on this forum. Also there has been a lot of improvement works already carried out at Kirby for example (huge thanks to those concerned) Have a look at this link (http://www.ddaps.org/work-gallerys.html) . I hope you enjoy your angling in what I personaly feel is a great forward thinking club who are responsible for managing some historic waters with some beautiful looking fish (well most of them, there are one or two dogs ;D), Enjoy your membership, I hope you won't regret it.

Out of interest why did they take the trees away? Anyone in the Long Chuck can just hurl a lead across to reach their island margin with no fear of getting snagged. Great if you're fishing the channel and some numpty keeps going over the island.

On one hand, none of us Elliot Crumb probably thought toms shoes that Stephen Hawking was born in a wheelchair. But as a pop men toms shoes culture figure, his wheelchair and electronic voice are his thing, and against all logic you find it hard to think of him shoes men toms any other way, like how you can't think of Hulk Hogan without the tan and mustache. That canvas mens toms photo up there is from 1965, when a 23-year-old Hawking married Jane Wilde. That was after his diagnosis with ALS, the disease that would put him in the men size toms shoes wheelchair (note the cane). But just a couple mens toms shoes size of years before that, he had no idea he had a degenerative disease -- he was a healthy, active, drinking college student at Oxford: Then, one day he noticed he was having trouble keeping his womens toms shoes hands steady, and once fell down a flight of stairs. Hey, best to go get it checked out, right? Could be, like, an ear infection or something toms classic shoes throwing off his balance. That's when the 21-year-old (now studying for his Ph.D. at Cambridge) was told he'd be bedridden soon, and dead within a few years, a prognosis that is true for almost every ALS patient. Hawking, somehow, toms shoes classic is still alive 50 years after his diagnosis.
